Organizational leadership, as well as political leadership, are required to take decisive action to restrict the virus because any delay in the process will cost the lives of people as well as economic damage to their respective counties/states and organizations. Therefore, decisive actions with transparent communication have been an important personality leadership trait that many of the leaders used as a tool to give importance to the lives of the people along with any further economic damages at the start of the spread of COVID-19.

The intervention of political leadership in rescuing these companies will have long-term consequences on the taxpayers. This may lead to mistrust and citizens might require strict demands to oversight the political leadership’s bailout practices.
