Shahnawaz Dahani is an emerging star of cricket in Pakistan. He was born on August 5, 1998, in a village near Larkana, Sindh Pakistan. In the beginning, his family was against him playing cricket, especially his late father. They wanted him to go for higher education and look for a government job. To pursue it, he also completed his B.com degree.

He didn’t end up his dream career. And he again started playing cricket in local clubs. His role in the team was as a bowler as he was good as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He made his first-class debut for Sindh on November 25, 2019, in Quaid-e- Azam trophy. He also made his PSL debut for Multan Sultans on February 23, 2021. In PSL, his bowling pace and celebrating style attracted the selectors and audience respectively. He made a strong fanbase from the PSL platform.

In March 2021, He got selected for the test squad of Pakistan against Zimbabwe, He also got selected against the West Indies in the Test squad. But unfortunately, he could not make his debut.

In September 2021 He made his name in the ODI squad of Pakistan against Zimbabwe and here he also could not get the chance to play. In the same month, he was also selected in the travelling reserves for Pakistan in ICC Men’s t20I world cup 2021.

Finally, In November 2021 he made his T20I debut for Pakistan against Bangladesh. After that, he was also selected in the ODI squads of Pakistan against Australia and he also made his name in the ODI squad in their series against West Indies to be held in June 2022 in this series there are possible chances he will make his ODI debut for Pakistan.
