Tchouameni signing | Hamari web | Real Madrid has reached an agreement to sign Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco on a six-year deal.

The French international aged 22, who used to play for Monaco will now join the Spanish giants Real Madrid for a fee of 80 million Euros which is equal to $84 million US dollars with another 20 million in add-ons, several media outlets have reported.

Real Madrid after just announcing the signing of the French International has said that a presentation ceremony will take place on Tuesday following a medical examination of the player Tchouameni.

Tchouameni will now become the 2nd most expensive sale in Monaco’s history just behind Kylian Mbappe, who was signed by Paris Saint-Germain for a whopping 180 million euros in the month of August 2017.

Real Madrid win the race against Liverpool and PSG

Tchouameni was in high demand as a player almost every big European club including the big names like Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain was behind to sign. The player was also named as Ligue 1 Player of the Year in 2020-21 when he joined Monaco from Bordeaux for 16 million euros.

While Real Madrid on the other hand in the race against Liverpool and PSG managed to sing Tchouameni. The player was on the radar of Madrid as they had been negotiating with the player since March this year. And in the end, the club managed to sign him at a reasonable price and duration.

Tchouameni is considered to be one of the most promising young talents out there in Europe. He is a regular in France’s national football team. In addition to that, he had played a role in the UEFA Nations League last year against Spain. Which French national team won.

He had 50 appearances for Monaco across all the competitions in 2021-22, he bagged five goals and also got three assists.

The future of Real Madrid’s midfield is secured

He is a versatile player and can play in different positions. He can play as a defensive or as a central midfielder. Real Madrid’s magical trio of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro is getting older. So, bringing In young midfielders was a need of an hour. Now they have strengthened their midfield with the likes of Fede Valverde, and Eduardo Camavinga. Now a promising young talent Tchouameni is added to the roaster. He can prove to be a good decision for the club in near future.
